College bound and current undergraduate, graduate, and veterinary students enrolled in a food animal agriculture curriculum at an institution that offers degrees in agriculture may apply for $177,000 in scholarships available from Targeting Excellence.
In May 2016, at the end of the 2016 spring semester, Targeting Excellence awarded $123,000 in combined scholarships to 58 students. The scholarships were awarded to students enrolled in two-year, four-year, graduate and veterinary programs with a focus on food animal agriculture.
Targeting Excellence held its first Ohio committee meeting during the Ohio Pork Congress. Targeting Excellence will be hosting its first fundraiser in the state of Ohio during 2016. This will create scholarship opportunities in 2017 for college students in Ohio who are majoring in food animal agriculture related degrees.
Targeting Excellence is now accepting applications for the 2016 scholarship awards. Scholarships will be awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an agricultural curriculum at an institution that offers degrees in agriculture. A total of $120,000 will be awarded in 2016 from the applications that are submitted.
