Targeting Excellence was founded in 2013 with the vision, “To unite agribusinesses, production systems, and institutions of higher education in a common cause – to ensure the world’s food supply by providing scholarships for students committed to food animal agriculture.”
The 5th Annual Iowa Targeting Excellence Sporting Clay Scholarship Classic will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Targets on the Move in Ackley, IA. Targeting Excellence formed an Iowa committee in 2015 making it the 4th state to join the organization. The first Iowa fundraiser was held in 2015.
Targeting Excellence awarded $16,000 to students in Iowa this year from the funds raised last year. Help us increase the scholarship awards available for next year by making a one time or recurring donation today.
Morning teams should plan to arrive starting at 8am to sign-in and receive safety information for the event. Plan to arrive approximately 1 hour prior to your squad start time. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO RECEIVE SAFETY RULES AND SAFETY TALK PRIOR TO PARTICIPATING IN THE SHOOT.
