Thank you to all involved with making this program happen. I am honored each year to have the opportunity to represent Penn State and gain professional connections and friendships. For Ag students like myself, this program is an amazing way to expand connections throughout the industry and I am extremely grateful to have received this award.

As someone who did not have the opportunity to grow up with a large amount of agricultural influences, I am very proud to say how far I have come within this field. From starting as a 4-H in Bucks County at the age of 12, to now holding numerous connections throughout the poultry industry. I have worked to secure internships with widely-known companies to build my experience within the poultry industry and hopefully own my own pullet houses on my own farm one day. By expanding my opportunities within the agricultural industry, I plan to further educate non-agricultural members of society the grand importance of agriculture as a whole. As a student in the College of Ag I am grateful to receive these opportunities that can later aid me in my job and life. For some getting a job that pays the largest amount of money is the greatest concern, but for myself I wish to find a job that I can be excited to go to each day and to fulfill that job to the best of my ability.
