WWhen I graduate with my degree in animal sciences, I intend to pursue the management trainee program that Country View Family Farms offers in hog management. After gaining a few years experience in a management position and saving enough money, I plan to move out west toward Nebraska and further my career in either the swine or beef industry. I would like to pursue the beef industry straight out of school, but with the lack of beef cattle in Pennsylvania, I believe that learning the ropes with swine is the closest I can get to commercialized market livestock in this area.
