Targeting Excellence formed a Wisconsin committee in 2017 making it the 6th state to join the organization. The first Wisconsin fundraiser will be held in 2017 and students scholarships will be awarded in 2017 as well.
The Wisconsin Committee is comprised of individuals from food production systems, allied industries, and university professors all volunteering their time and resources to raise these funds from national and regional partners. All money raised in the state of Wisconsin will stay in the state for scholarships for Wisconsin students. Attracting the brightest and most motivated students, allowing them to have face-to-face time with future employers, and allowing them to graduate without a heavy debt load will not only be good for the students, but will also make our future industry stronger. More face-to-face time among the leaders of agribusiness, production systems and agricultural colleges can also lead to new alliances to ensure the survival of our industry.

Students need to know that there are successful people in our industry who are willing and able to be their supporting cast.
